Game Four -- Bruins at Capitals -- April 19, 2012

Accusations of cheap shots, actual shots and lots of talk, so far a regular run of the mill series featuring the defending Stanley Cup champs, the Boston Bruins.

The Bears and the Capitals renew acquaintances in the US capital tonight, as the Bruins seek to add one more game to the win totals, looking for a little space between themselves and the pesky Capitals, who having actually found a way to make the playoffs, now seemingly wouldn't mind sticking around for a bit of time.

To do that however will require at least one game without the services of Nicklas Backstrom, assessed a one game suspension for his cross check to the visor of Rich Peverly as time expired in the third period of Game 3.

While the Caps may have a point that the issuance of justice seems a little haphazard at the moment, controlling the stupid stuff on the ice, is probably the best path towards an extended stay in the playoffs, otherwise, power play opportunities will be welcomed by the Bruins, who seem to have a knack of scoring a goal on the PP that provides for the desired result.

Game Four-- Boston 1  at Washington 2

Series is tied at 2 games  each
